We are very happy to invite you to a series of talks with Diamond Way teacher Detlev Goebel from Munich. Detlev will share his in-depth knowledge with us, giving three lectures on “Meditation: the practice of Guru Yoga”, “The Four Foundational Practices”, “Blessing and Transmission in the Karma Kagyü Lineage”. Details of the program with Detlev are shown below:

About the speaker, Detlev Goebel

Detlev was born in Germany in 1960 and took Buddhist refuge with Lama Ole Nydahl in 1984. Since 1990 he has been an editor of Kagyu Life Magazine, and started giving dharma teachings at Lama Ole’s request in 1992. Over the last 30 years, Detlev has made numerous pilgrimages in Nepal, India, Tibet and especially Bhutan, and in the recent years has guided annual pilgrimages of the Buddhist power places of Bhutan. He and his wife Claudia currently live in Munich and volunteer their time as editors of the important Buddhismus Heute (“Buddhism Today”) magazine.
